reading about the galaxy droid glitch in Knights of the old Republic, then encountering that glitch the very next time I played.

Sounds silly in retrospect, but seeing all the party members in the hub room when there wasn't a preceding cutscene filled me with a sense of dread and unease to the point where I deleted the save file. As fr as unsettling it was mostly the fact that I got the glitch right after reading about it.

It knocks the J-horror thing right out the park-- better than any video game I'm aware of-- but the puzzles are frustrating, the game feels slow as hell at times, the controls are ass even for survival horror, and there isn't enough game play variety. Still would recommend to anyone who wants a good horror experience even if the actually gameplay isn't quite as good.

Also this one courtyard area in Outlast where lightning would light up the whole area for a split second. If I didn't use the camera it would be pitch black and even with the night vision I could only see 5 feet in front of me. But it was only unnerving because I started to think what it would look like if every time lightning struck I would see enemies getting closer and closer towards me, but nothing like that ever happened unfortunately.
