I don't really use /a/ too much to be fair, so I don't really know what I'm talking about. However, in my experience they take their elitism too far. I think elitism is good to a degree and I think the abundance of it on /a/ is better than the complete lack of it on a lot of boards. Still, I get the impression a lot of the time that people on /a/ like things because they want to feel better than other people on /a/ rather than them liking things because they had a good time with them. I do prefer that to how it is on other boards where people just post memes about whatever's popular with normalfags, but I still don't like it. I'm thinking about promoting the idea of a remastered album, songs from previous years sung better. Another idea I've been knocking around is still allowing people to make songs but at a slower pace and publishing the finished result after we have enough songs. Like, only top tier shit and maybe once every couple of years. Don't know how it'll be done but it's an idea.

No matter how it ends, I'm looking forward to another annual event that we can enjoy for a few years before Reddit and other outsiders catche wind. Maybe convert the gamedev threads into game jams or something.
