Should I play this game? I heard it's really good and I've read several short stories by Lovecraft, and I'm into the lore. However, some people are saying the game's optimisation for Windows 10 is shit. Is this true?

I really enjoyed this game anon. I had read a few Lovecraft books before i played i lt as well and it didn't ruin my experience.
I didn't remember the ending being too bad but i remember being pretty pleased when i finally completed it.

It was fun when it was a walking and investigating simulator. After the hotel part it because a stealth game with shitty mechanics. Several hours later it becomes a lackluster shooter.

Download the unofficial patch, noclip through the like around two parts that game will fuck you on regardless, and have fun. Save often, not only due to potential problems but also insanity mechanics can lead to the player character committing suicide but these mechanics aren't as apparent and in your face.
