From what I've seem so far gameplay wise, the new BF2 only adds to everything the original BF2 had, that's a major improvement over the piece of shit that EA's BF1 was. I'll give it a try whenever they do a beta or whatever and decide for myself then.

Before some nostalgia player jumps I want to say that on rails ATAT was a good idea.

Whatever fun it was to have a non retard piloting it is completely outclassed by the dumbfuck who parks the ATAT in the corner all map long.

I can only hope there will be real space combat.

Space combat is back but it looks like it will be objective based like the Deathstar one they added in Battlefront 2015, no boarding action.

Each movie gets at least one map, so I'm guessing each era will get at least one space battle as well.
