No person that is employed in the games industry but NOT employed at Bethesda will be using this. It would be a massive hit to your ego and pride, as an individual and as a business entity.

If (when) Bethesda makes another game it will be as garbage as the other new style games. It doesn't matter if it sells enough copies to pay to keep Beth's lights on for another century. Some other entity isn't going to try to make content for them and get a serf's wage for it.

Modders remember what Beth and Valve did last time, they remember that wasn't even the first attempt at fucking with modding they've even done. They won't let Beth get any positive angle on the situation out of spite. The further Beth pushes this before they cave, the worse it'll be for Beth in the long run. Bethesda burned so many bridges last time and they turned around and decided they liked the fire instead of trying to rebuild.

At first I was a bit skeptical about the whole Creation Club announcement but when I read through their official website, it seems like this is a way for them to try and improve mods and make them better.

They will have quality control, collaboration between the game devs and the mod authors and a bunch of other procedures and guidelines.

I can't wait for the exciting new mods that will come out from this system. Its gonna bring polish and better integration for mods as a whole.

I am really excited.
