Games that satisfy your lust for archaeology and spelunking in old places.
I can think of:
>Maniac Mansion
>Tomb Raider 4
>PoP 2, 3
>HL2 (escaping the city, after that the game sucked)
>Warcraft 3 (just the setting, I hate RTS)
>WoW (just the setting, I hate MMO)
>RE4
>God of War 1, 2
>AssCreed 1
>Bioshock
>Dota (in 2008 I had made a wish for a game I could play set in the WC universe I had fallen so much in love with but less RTSy because I hated RTS; I got my wish and spent 4 years on Dota and 4 more in Valve's version but it wasnt the same)
>Gears 2 (worm level)
>Uncharted 2
>Minecraft (magma caves)
>Skyrim (exploring the map and dwemer ruins)
>Dark Souls (Blighttown, Demon Ruins, Lost Izalith)
>new AC We Wuz Edition
>your mom's pu$$y

I only like to enter tight spaces with my dick.
>tfw nobody will ever make a game about archaeology where you actually do excavating and analyze artifacts and shit
could be neat, would play like a murder mystery game but with tombs instead of crime scenes
I like the temples in Risen 1 and 2. Risen 3 sadly has very little temples. Severance: Blade of Darkness and Dark Messiah of Might and Magic have cool levels were you explore ancient ruins.
Zelda games totally have that feel
