REQUEST:
Can somebody help me remember the name of this arcade fighting game?

>seemed to be from the 2000s
>in 2.5D (as in there were 3D models but only 2D movement - I could be wrong about this though)
>and, most importantly, one of the characters was like an owl-god

That's all I can remember, I played it a few times in my local bowling alley as a kid.

Thanks

To clarify, I'm sure the models were 3D, just not entirely sure whether or not the arena was on a 2D or 3D plane.

Surprised I was right, but yeah Soul Calibur is always fun, 2 is my personal favorite but 3 wasn't too shabby either

Just don't take it too seriously

Right, turns out I had remembered it wrong

Not him but I enjoy playing them. Kinda like Tekken but everyone uses swords and things of the like to fight instead of only fists.

Soul Calibur was a big deal in the 00s, but the machines are surprisingly rare these days. I think I've seen it twice since then, both of them being SCII.

How can someone play a Soul Calibur game and not remember its title? I don't get it.
