I started out like most with the Faulconer music American dub, and while I loved it as a kid, after watching the Japanese version I can say without a doubt that the dub is a flaming pile of garbage. It has nostalgia value, sure, but a lot of moments (especially in the Trunks arc) were flat out ruined. I'm just glad that Funimation truly cares about it now, as Kai and Super are legitimately good products (and they were good enough by the time they did OG Dragon Ball that the dub is watchable, but I'd still rather watch the JP version b/c of lack of insert music in the dub.)

I do want a rerelease of the Dragon Box, though. The shitty cropped Blu-Rays are a no go. Yeah I know they'r technically cropped better than the Orange Bricks were, but the ""remastering"" job is still poor. The Buu Arc of Kai is more acceptable as 16:9 since it's a total re-edit anyway, but I want the original in 4:3.
