Cause the galaxy isn't totally fucked yet. Everyone sorta knows that the republic is starting to crumble but no one is admitting it, so it's just business as usual for the most part. And it opened up a whole new unseen chapter of Star Wars so it has that sense of mystique and wonder.

It's my personal favorite era. I remember when I was a kid in the 90s my dad used to tell me stories about the republic and the battle between Obi-Wan and Anakin. When the prequels started coming out I thought he had secretly worked at Lucasfilm or some shit but it turns out the rough outline was in the back of some novelization he read in the 70s or something.

my game had broken visuals and i had to respawn at the beginning and it crashed halfway through, not even joking.
also the maps rigged, we got the mtt down to 0 and it kept going

What did you think about the guns? I thought they felt really weak to use and wimpy compared to all the other battlefield/front games

I don't think there's era specific Heros. I think you can be anyone on any map.

If there are era specific Heros then Ray won't be in prequel maps in the full game, they just included her for this demo because they were ready to show her off.

Can't really say about the guns since I played BF2015 on PC and this was the first time I played an FPS with a PS4 controller.

Also is it me or does it suck that Rey is just Luke 2.0? All the animations look the same, and she can even block blaster bolts. Was really hoping for a hero that'd use both a blaster and a lightsaber.

also, when you're in the chokepoint at the end, go squad leader or whatever the class is and use your reinforcement power up. easiest points ever

Shoot a blaster? Think of it. Pulling in the left trigger (Im a controllerfaggot), instead of blocking with the saber, you pull up a blaster. Rey should have like Han Solo type speed. Her charge and Mind trick are cool tho as they are. That'd make her an interesting character ingame seeing as none else really uses a blaster, AND melee weapon.
