Is Soul Sacrifice Delta a good vita game? Is it as fun

I liked it more than Monster Hunter but I fucking hate the 3DS, so take what you will from that.

It's good, not as good as monster Hunter. The weapons are not deep enough, and they try to make it up with variety, but it doesn't really work.
It has many strong points, though. The lore is entertaining, the story is pretty okay, it has a small bunch of interesting characters with their own backstories. The
hunting is fun and it's definitely worth the price on sale

Combat and content isnt as deep as MH but its better in almost every other aspect.
I'd say SSD is its own kind of fun.

I wonder of any /v/ita bros would still play it online.

gameplay is different so you can't really compare that. everything else such as art direction, sound design, story and all that stuff is better in SS

Weapons aren't as deep and fleshed out as they are in MH. MH also has a lot more to do that than just kill this boss/mob: you can raise cats, fish, cook a pot roast; shit felt more variety. Idk about delta, but vanilla is pretty mediocre in terms of combat. I wished save/sac played a better role mechanically than just fucking up your alignment.

IMO, SS is the weaker hunter next to clones like Toukiden. Is SS2 still happening?

Technically monsters come from 2 sources

1. Extreme desperation which attracts the chalice which then grants the desperate person's wish in exchange for a sacrifice. Pretty much how apostles in berserk are made (chalice = behelit)

2. Injuries from monsters that don't kill a person infect them with their magic and if left untreated it slowly mutates them into a doppelganger copy of the monster that injured him/her. Gemini occur when one sustains injuries from multiple monsters.
