'BRIDGES: Death Stranding' is releasing this winter. It is the first episode in an episodic series ("BRIDGES") which is half 'permanent ARG' taking place 'IRL' (mostly internet scavenger hunt stuff with special IRL events at the launch of new episodes). The games are basically interactive films, but with a large replayable value due to ARG-related content (which will be updated over time) and also through more conventional 'infinite NG+' mechanics, and branching paths through the open maps. There are five planned episodes (maybe less if the project is a failure, but not more), which will likely release through 2019/2020, at which time they will be collected with additional game content and an archival version of the ARG content (they have great plans for creating digital recreations of the IRL events).Each episode is supposed to feature a different celebrity guest actor. Kojima is VERY aggressively pursuing some big names that will make Reedus and Mikkelsen seem small time in comparison.
The project has two studio-level goals, firstly to earn enough acclaim to attract a new patron who will better enable them to go fully independent, and secondly to break Kojima into Hollywood. His ultimate revenge dream is to wind up directing the MGS movie, which Avi is willing to let happen.

Thiefags fuck off, MGS games have great gameplay, they are spliced in between long cutscenes but when there is actual gameplay, it's as far way from the Plastation style movie games as possible.
No long sections where all you do is explore a empty room as the characters spout random dialogue
No walk slow while someone talks in your ear
No qtes (besides one mash segment per game)
