What the fuck happened? I feel like I could be so much better at games right now but I just suck at them, even offline
>>379947416
>tfw your reflexes and ability are now better than they were at 16 now that you're 25
>you will never git gud at a game again because you have a job now and can buy new games instead of learning a old game inside and out

For me it was because I was using them to escape my life at the time so literally every free moment I had I was playing some FPS. I also didn't have money so I played the same games ad naseum because I had no other option. Now that I'm no longer running away from the real world and have money to buy a bunch of different games I can't autistically spend over 50 hours a week on the same game.
>friend nearing his 31st is super fucking pissy when he loses on any sort of even slightly competitive game
>as he gets more pissy he starts to perform worse and worse
>can't tell him to just practice because I know that won't help
>can't tell him he sucks because who would do that

I'm the opposite
>keep replaying old games because I'm at the point where I don't actually enjoy videogames anymore
>try a new game
>it's flashy and confusing and gives me headache
