Not quoted but it's at least true that Diablo 1 had a much better atmosphere going for it.
Probably because it was basically just a "descending into Hell" motif with a fleshed out little village to go with it.

If Blizzard made a Diablo 1 or 2 with better graphics, I'd actually give them real money for it.

There is an interview on youtube with the original lead developer for Diablo 2. He said many times that blizzard isn't planning on remastering any of the Diablo games, but instead taking the franchise in a different direction.

okay. considering sc remaster had some changes, i hope that it won't do the same for diablo 2. but it's blizz so i have no expectations except disappointment.
