By Microsoft saying "Yes" to Rocket League Cross Play, Xbox players could play 102684 players in however many more matches per day, thats a pretty large reduction in queue time. Sony players have to wait even longer.

How is it a problem? Xbox Live is no different than Steamworks, except they charge for the service themselves instead of forcing the developers to pay for it. You also have to take into consideration that they take a leser cut from digital sales and dont have the Steam Marketplace cut to help them pay for costs.

At least with Xbox Live in comparison to PSN and doesnt even need to be mentioned Nintendo Online, they're constantly giving you content to merit the cost of the service. Ive gotten four games in the last year from Games for Gold that would have cost me the price of the year of Xbox Live to purchase, they gave out Rare Replay today for free and last year they gave out Tekken Tag Tournament 2 for free.
