Holy shit guys will this be the end of Xbox?
It's been a pattern since like the 4th gen where only three major consoles may remain on the market or else one of them drops out

>7th gen nothing joins, all consoles remain intact for the next gen

Atari's market value multiplied by 10x would not be enough to fund the development costs of a real console. Whatever Atari box comes out will be some garbage that plays old ROMs.
Getting into the console business is something no actual video game company can afford to do.
