If they have a demo build of the game that is literally JUST that tiny area and scripted events, it's still technically true to call it in-game footage regardless of whether or not it appears in the final product.

Bungie did something similar way in the past with Halo where the e3 demo was basically held together with sticks and everything was ultra scripted, I think they even ran audio on a separate machine from the game because it wasn't finished. Difference is they actually finished their game.

The Montreal team NEVER made any games. Their studio only made dlcs, maps and stuff. Andromeda was the first actual game they ever made. Everything else before that was made by Edmonton.
