I got Starpoint Gemini 2 because it was free. It's not terrible, but it doesn't seem to capture the same feel, and it's nowhere near as big as the Freelancer universe.

It's a decent facsimile, and being able to customize the music is a definite plus.

Long story short, Starpoint Gem 2 is pretty underrated for what it is related to the era it was made.
