Just finished New Vegas again and now every game I play leaves me underwhelmed and bored.
Any games on-par with new vegas, in terms of player freedom, interesting setting and general funness?

No we're born to suffer. Hear Wasteland 2 is alright but haven't really given it a shot in all honesty.
The Witcher 3.
It's easily the best videogame ever created.

>best game ever
I tried 2 and the combat was just a fucking drag so I'll probably never experience what you motherfuckers did.

another game I completed that has made everything else eh

I didn't find 2 a drag combat wise, mediocre if anything but not the worst, especially for other RPGs around at the time. Witcher 3 has really fun combat in my opinion anyway by contrast.

Then I think you should try another hobby.
You already experienced the very best the industry has to offer. There is no point on wasting your time with inferior experiences.
Still, don't forget to come back when Cyberpunk 2077 gets released.

>replay witcher 3 after 2 years or so
>25 hours played
>only reached Novigrad
this fucking game. Only bad thing is the combat, its just too easily broken. First few levels are always hard regardless of difficulty, then you hit lvl 15 and just cant die anymore for some reason.
Never played the Blood and Wine DLC, cant wait for it.

Maybe play fallout 1/2? Personally I found it difficult to get into 2 because of the isometric perspective but after putting some hours into it, it comes close to new vegas in terms to the amount of ways to tackle problems and choices.
