I've known about this for a little while and can't keep hold of it any longer.
The final unveiling for Sony's press conference is going to be a Matrix game from Rocksteady. It's due for release in 2019 (to coincide with the original film's 20th anniversary).
Rocksteady is doing their own retelling of the three films and there's also going to be a series of side-stories (pre-ordering the game gives you a Trinity DLC that shows you how she escaped the Matrix and her training before meeting Neo).
There's also an online mode that works similar to Dark Soul or Watch Dogs (agents can invade you game and you have to escape/defeat them).

Matrix game with Batman combat then? I know people like to shit on it and I understand why, but that's pretty great from my position. I never disliked it, although I think it was more satisfying when you got rid of the indicators someone was about to hit you.
