As a fan and apologist of Black Flag, it might be the worst one just because how much things like tailing missions brought the game down. All the potential that I saw, the game was hugely negatively impacted by being an AC game.

The Combat is shit, never upgraded my items once and still never died in combat, though I did find a challenge with enemies who didn't

The climbing is awful. Slow, tedious and janky as fuck. He misses easily grabbed ledges ALL THE TIME

The story is so forgettable I can't even complain about it, all I remember is that the animations are fucking terrible

The setting sucks, it's all ruins and god awful textures, the music is only good when it brings back 2's soundtrack

And to top it off, the final boss is beatable by equipping throwing knives, and then pressing X until he dies. No seriously, the knives, which you use with X, stun him and do damage until you get to the next QTE, which is X spam. I held the controller in one hand in fucking disbelief as I mashed x and slowly won the fight

I can't believe that game is so highly praised. One shallow recruiting mechanic doesn't save the fucking miserable experience everything else is.

I just beat it in the Ezio's trilogy. It was a great game, and one of my favorites. My only problem was there were too many walking scenes in the beginning. Revelations has a great setting and climbing never gets hold.

Dark Souls 2 is a fantastic game in every way and is only marred by some poorly designed boss fights

Also disliked Brotherhood. Has redeemable qualities and is fun to play, but is most definitely the weakest of the Ezio-trilogy. But I have to admit, that Revelations is my all time favorite AC game, followed by Rogue.

bug fest galore. still the best characte animations when they work. crouch button is a godsend (finally ubisoft). no whistling sucks.
microtransactions are the work of the devil. all those chests and you either run around with eagle vision to find them or pay actual cash to get them. fuck that.
muder mysteries were nice even if too disconected

solved lots of problems with unity by downgrading it complexity (less npcs, less facial complexity, et cetera). carriages are fun, rope launcher was needed for traversing even if bullshit (but so are many of the gadgets in previous installments). liked the interactions between the MCs. queen victoria a cute

There has never been a good Assassin's Creed game. ASII was the closest the series ever got to quality, but all the other entries are varying degrees of suck.

I never finished Unity because it was so fucking boring and repetitive (not even talking about the bugs either). Somehow they fucked up the climbing too when it was basically perfected in BF/Rogue. I don't think I'm ever playing another AC game again after that.
