What's really sad is how much I liked Borderlands 1. Borderlands 2 was even okay.

I was astounded to get the whole "LOL PATRIARCHY WOW WEW FEMINISM WEW" shit shoved down my gullet with the "Pre-Sequel".

It was so disgusting and suprising to see such a social narrative pushed that fucking hard in a video game. I'll never buy anything from them ever again, and I know a lot of people feel that way.

I don't know, all I can speak from is first hand experience. I actually forced myself to play through the whole game and it's fairly prevalent throughout.

However, one of the very first quests in the game is *literally* a gigantic, muscled man being berated and insulted by a "Strong womyn" about the patriarchy, sexism, classism etc.

The dialogue is right out of some kind of neo-feminist diatribe. Muscle guy is just trying to be cool/funny and gets literally verbally raped repeatedly for "BEING SEXIST, YOU PIG, THE PATRIARCHY, HOLY SHIT YOURE IGNORANT, SHITLORD" kind of shit.

It's absolutely disgusting/10.

If you have specific questions I can try to answer. I did play through the whole game years ago when it was released. The social/4th-wall dialogues are frequent and painfully cringey.
