The gameplay trailer made me feel very off. As pretty much everyone else is saying, it probably will try to cash-in to the recent Fast & Furious action thing, with the high stakes jobs and whatnot.
For all the bad things the previous game did, it at least focused on the aspects of what made NFS good, the customizing, the underground vibe (not talking about the game), and the RACING between other racers. And that was very awesome.
This not only does stray away from what made NFS great, but also seems from the gameplay trailer, that driving physics will be the horrible on rails type, with no satisfying turning, acceleration, and handling in general.
I also couldn't care less for the story in a NFS game, never really did, it was just some justification as to why I'm trying to be the #1 racer. And it seems it will be shoehorned in pretty bad.
I will say it now, that this game will be worse than the previous one, and that they will probably never make another good NFS game ever.
