AVP3 is a brand new Team-Based FPS with multiple factions; AVP3's setting is less a minor battle or skirmish like AVP2 and 1 and 2010, but more like Extinction and being a full out war. As a result, each of the factions also has a subfaction.
The gameplay is essentially AVP2 brought up to speed with today's technology, allowing us to do things we couldn't do prior.
The story begins in orbit around a particular planet of intrest, It is 2000 years after ALIENS, and the weyland yutani corporation has their own Empress specimen. This chaos will build up until a climax with this empress; though you fight it on occasion through the game, the final fight is with it as a Xenoborg. But not everything is as it appears, Somebody with more sinister motivations than Weyland Yutani is behind the scenes.

Tribes VENGEANCE 2? The hell?
Just give me a real successor to Starsiege: Tribes or Tribes 2. Even Tribes: Ascend was better than Vengeance, wtf.

Why?
Double-why: Why does everybody complain about the grappling hook making the game too vertical/mobile? It's TRIBES. That's the entire POINT. Go fast, be mobile.
I personally enjoyed vengeance the most out of the series. I've played all of them, but vengeance is my favored one. Therefore; I would try to improve upon the flaws of Vengeance, and work with what was already good.
