You know game devs like putting alot of controversial stuff in games like trans characters or abuse and stuff like that. But why have real controversial things been taken out? Like rape and over the line stuff like that? I mean I think the last game I saw any type of rape whatsoever was in silent hill. I'm not saying the concept should be reintroduced for the sake of shock or anything. But I think rape and murder and all that edgy shit can really help make a story feel more real. Make it seem more like a threat you've actually heard about in real life... I don't know, I think it would just make an already grim story that much more grim.
