Once it became a craze they pumped out a million of them and people got tired of it.
The market became too saturated. Activision was the chief offender because they pumped out way more games than EA did, but basically you can't keep charging people for games that have big ass plastic peripherals when you only need to buy one.
Madcatz went all in on Rock Band 4 and went bust as a result
