ITT: Games you remember playing but don't know the name

I'll start. There was this game that was like 16-bit that I played on PC in school (don't know if it was emulated or not) where you play this bruce lee type of guy and fight bosses in 2D side scroller game and had only punch and a kick. I remember there was one boss where it was a drunken master in a heavy storm stage (I think it was the final boss)

This is driving me nuts, /v/. Does anyone know the name

there was an old PC game about magic and little elves or something in green hats i think. the cover was a bunch of little elves climbing a mountain. it was kind of like an educational game like zoombinis and i think it played like that too
>>
it was an 8 bit platformer where you played as a wizard of something, and could shoot magic spells, from around the same time as Subculture, so maybe 1995-98
>>
Old game on the pc i downloaded for free where its just a line and a ball and you hit other lines and then little gnomes appear and you get powerups
>>
>>379671408
It was an old Atari 2600 game, it kinda was like Berzerk I guess, one of the cool things about it was that you could hold down the fire button to make you projectile go faster or you could fire more but slower projectiles by spamming the button.
>>
There was this old SNES game I remembered from my childhood. It was about simulations of life on the sea around the 1600s, with the plot twist that there was this huge war between humans and Atlantians. It was awesome, I'd always go with the trader route, sailing through Africa day after day after day.
>>
>>379672307
I know what you are talking about. It was published by the same people who did reader rabbit and all other educational games back in the day
>>
>>379672663
I literally typed "snes sea trade game" and got "Uncharted Waters: New horizons"

Is this what you played?

2000s game for Mac
2D space game where you could board and take over other ships
you could get into unwinnable situations
like you could not have enough fuel to jump to a system and not have enough money to buy furl in the current system
>>
>>379672735
i looked that up and i think its treasure mountain. i guess i must have been remembering it completely wrong
>>
It was a psp jrpg. The art direction was similar to suikoden games. The protagonist was male? That's all I remember.
>>
>>379674428
Man that's pretty vague. Is there anything else you can remember? Combat?
>>
>>379673246
no, but thanks for trying anon. it has similarities but much prettier graphics. could have been 16 or higher bit
>>
It was back on the ps1, You woke up on a ship but it was always filled with ghosts and shit that would go through walls trying to kill you, I don't remember much, but I remember the ending. The ending of the game you escape the ship and a beam of sorts shines over the ship before it vanishes along with the ship too
>>
This one game that was a FPS that took place in the future where neanderthals somehow ruled the world. I distinctly remember a nightclub level. One ability allowed you to throw objects and have the explode, including corpses. It was on Xbox 360 I believe
>>
>>379676868

>>
an open world bowling game where you bowl around the world collecting coins and shit against other people. think there were upgrades as well. pc game.

There was some really old pc game, (like Ski Free old) where the mouse cursor is a tiny gloved hand that you control and hover over the environment interacting with things. Picking up and throwing around deer, rocks, people, etc.

It seems like a really bare-bones game looking back, but I was curious what it was years later.

Zeno Clash?
>>
It's an RPG on PS2

You start as a girl in white nothing area doing practice battles

After which you get it and see you are in a space station of sorts
>>
There was this one gba game where you would run around in a iso metric grid at first, and then get randomly teleport ed into a side ways shmup at times. The main thing I rember is that the main character gets infected or something and then he gets purple armour and rides around in alien space ships

There was one game on the genesis i used to play where you fought aliens or mutants as generic 90's characters with what i think were flamethrowers
Obviously don't remember much about it, but there was this one guy who was some kind of white space marine and my friends and I would get into fist fights over who would get to play him
>>
There was some Japanese action game, and all I really remember is the two lead characters, a man and a young woman, barricaded in a shack or bunker or sorts, talking about how they fought off the last monster with a scythe.

I vaguely think that the monsters were sentient pumpkins?

Okay, there was this one educational game, I would guess from around the early 2000's. It had pixellated graphics, and it was like this one guy who walked around a building, engaging and "fighting" these robots which had math problems and puzzles on them. You had to answer the question correctly in a certain amount of time, or you lost.
>>
>>379679578
What kind of gameplay?
>>
>>379679715
It was really clunky Elderscrolls esque fighting style. This is all really vague because I was really young and barely played it. I remember the opening scene was a live action clip of a guy sitting at a table in like a medieval castle and he got this black mask put on him?
>>
>>379679715

Oh! I found it. It was warriors of might and magic.

Back when I was like ten, my uncle let me play on his PS1 at grandma's house. It was a fighting game or something and I loved it. The first place was in a snowy dojo, second was in some kind of aquarium thing where you fought a woman

It also had a secret boss towards the end that was pure white or something, I just can't remember the name of it though

Oh, and it had a drunken master character that you could play as and you could drink while fighting

There was this weird flash game I used to play with sister some 10 years ago. I remember it being in Japanese (I think), you were supposed to develop an island that starts as nothing and you'd get different outcomes based on order of stuff you did. I haven't seen anyone ever mention it online in 5+ years.

I remember there being aliens somewhere I think.

I'm not memeing, I've been trying to find this for years.

there was this educational children's game I used to play whenever we had computer time in kindergarten. I dont really remember alot of details about it other then the main character being a robot and the game being point and click. I think(?) the main goal was to help the robot find his other robot friends that were stuck in different historical times? I played this along with another game about a cat and a mouse and the cat wanted to me a mathematical wizard with everything in the game being math related
>>

It was 3D, it also had an arena that had you in a caged match with a helicopter shining a light on you and your opponent

Thank god for this thread.
I'm looking for the name of a PC SHMUP-like. Very similar to Bugatron, played like Galaga-style games. It was definitely 3D, and had three different visual styles that the levels would cycle through. The first would be a third-person type of view, where you'd move a space-ship in all eight directions to shoot. The second would be top down, with movement restricted to left and right, and the third view would be from the side, where you could only move up and down. Moving to new levels was achieved by flying through rings, and you could go to bonus levels if a ring appeared in the middle of a level. One more distinctive feature was that any power-ups you recieved would have a visual effect on your spaceship. For example, if you picked up a speed powerup, two large engines would appear on the bottom of your ship, and would remain there even after the powerup had expired.

That's all I got lads.

there was this one game for pc where you could play for free for a limited amount of time and you could get to a certain level before being attackable. You had to pay to get past that level or whatever and start being able to build a real base.

I'm pretty sure it was like a FPS but I might be wrong. I remember I wanted to play it but my dad was afraid of using credit cards online so I couldn't play past a certain point. I was pretty young at the time so I can hardly remember it.

I had some obscure ass first person mech game. It was on the PlayStation 1. It had live action people for cutscenes and the video call things in game. I believe you were on an alien planet, and you fought other mechs, and whenever you killed a mech a ton of little people spilled out and you walked over them and it would say "people rescued" in a weird accented voice. I have never been able to remember the name of the game.

I remember a RTS style game. Very vaguely. You were on some kind of sky platform and the objective was to move a sacrifice to an alter. The sacrifice was the win condition.

Also, there was this point and click game where you were a detective of sorts. I remember a visceral female murder in a pool area. Later in the game you go to heaven or some shit.

I had a game titled elf1 preinstalled on PC in late 90s but googling that gives nothing relevant. It was a cheap pixel sidescroller, the first stage was a forest and you had to platform up the trees to talk to a cloud who opened the gate so that you could keep going. The most noteworthy thing was that you walked from right to left to proceed.

There was this PC RTS game around the 2000s mark. There were at least three races that I remember:
>an overly evil race, ie. vampires, death knights, skeletons etc
>an aquatic kind of race, lots of mermen. very aquamarine
>an elvish mage race?

The game was heavily based on a mana system, with 'fonts' being an important building or capture site or something. A lot of the HUD was on the bottom and the right(?) hand side. I'm pretty sure it was a pixel-art game, similar to but a bit ahead of Starcraft, but I'm not sure
>>
Alright here we I got two games;

Windows 95:
I'm pretty sure this came as a preinstalled demo, but you raced around in combat arenas using Tron style futuristic motorcycles and if you held down a button you would generate a trailing energy field behind you which would blow up an opponent bike if they hit it. The arenas were 3D and there were ramps and shit, the graphics were fairly basic and the only feature I remember is when you used your energy trail the camera moved if you were crying to encircle an opponent, I think the game name had -Drome in the title (Like Velodrome)

DOS Game:
Now this one is hard because literally I can do to describe it is you play as a futuristic bike with selectable missiles and chainguns etc, you would have a certain objective to accomplish and a dropship would insert you into the field. It was mostly a high speed combat game very similar to Mechwarrior in gameplay and appearance, except replace mechs with bikes (enemies might have been bikes/tanks/aircraft/towers/bases)

Four games here any help would be massively appreciated.

1) An RTS that was futuristic and had a map called Ziggurat. I remember you could have beastly artillery units.

2) Game for the genesis, side scrolling shoot em up, where you play as humans and there's an alien invasion or something. Aliens looked pretty scary and gross too.

3) SNES Shmup, classic bottom to top shooting, characters were in a cute chibi weeb style, you were in jets or some shit maybe and there were the standard power ups

4) Genesis Shmup where you controlled a dragon maybe?

it was a flash game on some various game sites, basically it was a turn based game where you got to pick from 6 clans, 3 evil and 3 not evil
the basic story was that every so often there's a tournament of some kind to see which clan is number 1, but at some point two people from the evil clans break off to do some dumb shit (i think steal something?) and you can choose to join them or refuse. depending if you chose a cunt clan or a good guy clan the choice will get you either outcasted or praised
small detail i remember is that the fire clan is the current champions before the story starts

I remember an old top down rpg though i don't remember if it was for pc or apple, i'm talking back in the mid 90s. 1. A game somewhat similar to Arkanoid, but there's gravity, you had to "climb" the levels and the paddle was always under the ball. I think it came with one of the game CDs of a computer magazine, pic related.

2. A 2D match-3 game from the 90s where you drop sacks on a scale and try to keep it from toppling. I'm 99% sure the game is called Equilibrium, but I can't find a single trace of it's existence.

Ok guys, where would I find all the games that were on Bonus.com? I've tried wayback machine and everything, it's like it never happened.

But if I want something specific, it would be babby's first rpg that i found on bonus.com. Looking back it seems like a dragon quest ripoff (as in the overworld and navigation), and i think the only enemies may have been bosses you fought in these underground lair/castle type things. Real generic progression too, like beat boss one to get to world two, beatboss rwo to get to world three etc. Pixel art I'm pretty sure, the shitty kind.

I used to have this with this game until very recently. Played it once at a friend's house, some generic fantasy setting where you had to save your girlfriend or something. It had a tutotial where you practice sword-fighting with your grandfather, who I think dies heroically somewhere throughout the start of the game, and then you're in some kind of dungeon full of imps and shit. You eventually find a magic sword that shoots ice and fight a demon throwing fireballs and spawning imps, and have to beat it by shooting ice at it while taking cover behind this pillar. It was so generic and the memory so vague that I couldn't possibly find it for almost twenty years, until it finally got a steam release and I recognized it.

I hope you all find your games, if only to get that sweet closure.

Got two I can't remember the name of. Both were either NES or SNES.

1.
Probably NES, you ran around as some sort of baby dinosaur and could punch enemies. You were pretty much confined to an area as like it's an arena and the areas always had some sort of jungle theme or some such.
You could get a power up item that turned you into a fullblown T-Rex for a duration.

2.
Probably SNES. It was a puzzle game where you had to move cavemen through different areas to the goal. Each area had various dinosaurs that could lill your cavemen and you had to figure out, how to get past them via ladders and maybe other tools.

heres one thats killing me

Old dos game.
Very 'medival germanic'
you create a party of pretty standard guys/gals. Pretty indepth char creator for a dos game
start in town inn and agree to adventure together, but wtf to do?
Can wander town at night and find hooligans to fuck up.
Can visit church and attend mass. If your chars know latin they 'get more' out of going to church.
You can get them real day jobs to earn money like scribing if they can read (rare), craftng, etc

If you try to leave the city suddenly an alchemy quiz about alchemy reagents.
This acts as the game's copyright protection. Get it wrong and game will crash, losing progress if you didnt save

get it right you leave the city and discover the game is much bigger than you though. It's like half of Europe. Can wander around map but insanely dangerous. Will find pagan temples, castles of corrupt lords, n other shit.

if a character dies, they are dead forever and have to create a new noob char to take their place in party.

I can remember everything about this game but the name.
>>

It was modern day and set in some third world shithole.

I remember the first mission of the campaign involved gunning down rebels in a shantytown with mud huts and shacks. There was also a bridge over a canal in that same mission.

I'm looking for an old dos adventure game.
iirc it was isometric. It started with your character having a conversation with a big spider or drider, not sure. You would gradually transform into a bug during the course of the adventure and by that unlocking new abilities. Your enemies among others were humans with ant heads and the sort.
>>
There was this old fucking game on those Sky TV boxes in the early 2000s at least in the UK. You played as a bee in a hive and had to collect your babies before the bee police got you.

There was this one game I use to watch my brother play on the ps1 that was about 2 siblings, a boy and a girl, that would sneak out of bed at night and enter this crazy dream world where they could transform into a monster. It was a platforner and you chose between the boy and the girl.

Been searching for this for forever.
Some 2D omnidirectional space ship shooter where you gather enemy projectiles with a gravity field around your ship to fling it back at them.
It was on some shovelware game CD early 2000

There was a game where you crashlanded your ship on an alien planet and had to fight off these insectoid aliens at least at first, I dunno, I only played the demo. There were other people with you that gave you quests and shit. I think it was basically your average ARPG but with guns and in a sci-fi setting. Wasn't that old, maybe somewhere between 2002-2007.

There's this old game for the PS2 which I know nearly nothign about. All I remember is like, teleporting (?) into a seaside area which was very stormy and rainy and had a lighthouse which you had to go into. Also, none of the characters were human, all anthropomorphic. I think the main bad guy had an eyepatch?

There was this platformer game for the psx where you played this big-nosed guy. I remember that there were these hats that were like the equivalent of mushrooms from super mario that let you resist dying once.
