The remake on PSP has
>fewer levels
>the levels that are retained are badly re-designed
>there's an annoying helper character that never shuts up
>the game tries really hard to be funny and isn't
>the art style looks like something Tim Burton sneezed onto a napkin
>there's a whole area of the game that has no purpose outside of housing a bunch of shitty minigames that, if you can bear to play them for a good twenty hours, lets you get the strongest weapon in the game, this is the only way to get it legitimately
>spooky atmosphere is mostly replaced with BOO haunted house
>there is no way to control the camera outside of hitting the R button which locks onto enemies and lets Dan do retarded side and backflips that do nothing
>story now hinges on finding the pieces of the "Anubis Stone", a thing that was never in the original and really doesn't do anything
>Dan is now a full-on coward, has to be told what to do rather than getting out there and doing it himself

The music is great though, same composers, but they got to use an entire orchestra.
