BOTW isn't far off, I have a 970 and I'm only locked by my i5, in both 720p or 4K I get the same framerates of 25-30 in the wild, 20-25 in towns and solid 30 in shrines.

That's around what the consoles get but minus the 4K so even shitty locked i5 that can't be OC'd get a better experience than buying a shitty console.

If we're being hypothetical still, then the switch has potential simply because it's at the beginning of it's life cycle. if someone is going to buy a console in order to play BotW, the switch is the better choice if they also want to play other games.
