I had a logitech G9 for years, it started to lose connection all the time so I throw it on the closet. Years ago find out there are cable replacement kits for G9, but can't find the mouse anywhere.

I use the g502 all the time. while I don't use some of the buttons, and it kinda looks ridiculous, the multiple DPI settings, "G-Switch" (aim button - temporarily changes dpi to whatever you set in software), and the fucking wonderful scroll wheel keep me.
of course, I didn't pay for mine, was gifted it. might feel different if i did pay.
they last for quite a while too, I had one for a few years and only got a new one because I had the Core (only blue lights) and wanted the Spectrum to match with my other shit. the only thing that had started to fail on the Core was the braided casing on the cord, and that was only because I have absolutely dogshit cable management and it probably got caught on a corner and pulled a bit too hard.

My interaction with logitech support was the opposite. Had a guy who obviously did not understand english well asking for information I already filled in repeatedly over a month long span. Eventually just gave up and now I have no plans to ever buy anything from logitech again.

Mine has the double click issue but I opened it up and used some compressed air on the switches.

Mine Logitech started double clicking mouse 3 which I use to open links.
I showered in isopropyl alcohol and let it sit overnight and it works fine now.
