what will the next historic Total War game be and why will

I really don't know but I hope it isn't anything far east (ie. Warring States) since I couln't care less for it.

I wish CA would make specific campaigns DLCs like Alexander or the Rise of Islam (or even the Third Century Crisis) for Attila, since I believe its current campaign gameplay fits better than a grand campaign that span 300-500 years

The only reason I see them making a game set in China (or Far East) is too appeal the asians/chinese enthusiastics/weeaboos since I don't think the their more casual or average fans would care for it

I hope it's either Empire 2 in the Victorian age or Medieval 3 with this map. I'd be happy with Renaissance. I'd settle for China shit but only if it was FOTS style in the 1800s with the intervening foreign powers.

It's one of my favorites but it runs like shit and has a few annoying mechanics. YMMV on the time period but I always liked BI more than vanila RTW so it's a plus for me.

Optimization seems to be about a 50/50 split. For me its probably the best performing game in the series.

CA has said they're working on an era they haven't done before, so my guess is China Total War.
Which isn't as bad a choice for a setting as some tards think it is; there's a reason the Art of War (a book that in fact was the theme of the first Total War) was written by a Chinese.
Failing that, maybe a Pike & Shot era thing?

I figure if the combined campaign CA is trying with TWWH works out it'd fit perfectly for Medieval 3, with the expansion being the more traditional Medieval map.
