If you're referring to Pokemon then it's not just "similar" to the other games it plays out exactly the same way every fucking time. Sun Moon is the first one in two decades to majorly switch up the formula.

Pokemon games are never bad, but if you've played one or two then you have no reason to ever touch another one. Most normal people just burn out after that point and move on. It's only ever autists who keep buying them every time they release one.

This. PC and 3DS (and possibly Vita) are STILL the only things worth owning right now.

PS4 is getting to the point where it's almost worth owning due to its growing library of exclusives, but likely won't make it there before Sony drops the PS5 on us. Switch needs a hardware revision to be an actual handheld successor to the 3DS. XBone is a joke.

When I was like 24 I was working at an electronics store for about a year and my department manager was a dudebro. I remember him talking shit to someone else because he played pokemon and was in his early 20's. I couldn't help but laugh at the faggot for still playing pokemon. The funniest part is that he was a nigger too. Sure, I played the first two pokemon red and pokemon gold when they came out but cmon. Its the same bullshit over and over but with even more autistic pokemon with every new release. I was curious about the remakes but never cared enough to play them on an emulator.
