Paperinik is Donald's secret super hero side that was invented around the 70's by Italian writers. Paperinik New Adventures was a long series of stories focused completely on his super hero adventures. Normally the stories are a bit more grounded and he uses equipment from Gyro Gearloose but in New Adventures he teamed up with a super AI designed by some reclusive genius and fought against a race of alien invaders and major/global threats.

I liked New Adventures though the story went to shit after the first 30 issues or so.

Us Finns love Disney comics. Don't know the exact reasons, but I don't even remember there being that many comics to choose from when I was a kid. Had Donald Duck subscribed, bought plenty of pocket books (that were sold practically at every single convenience store and kiosk) and other story collections from proper bookstores as well and I still have a habit of reading Donald Duck comics virtually whenever I'm eating alone. Apparently my father also had the same exact habit even at middle age.

Don Rosa in particular is loved here, most likely in huge part because of his Scrooge McDuck Kalevala (Finnish national epic) story.
