Speaking of companions, I've downloaded the Russel mod. He's a potty mouthed former ranger, but it's pretty well done. He has plenty of comments about locations. I did New Vegas Bounties I with him, but he had no lines, hoping for something on the sequels.
So far, his companion quest is nice but has a major caveat, when they talk about a radioactive tunnel, they do mean it. Some points have over 30 rads/s, and after a spot it's over 4 constant rads, even with Rad-X. Now I'm stuck at the very end of it, since I ran out of Rad-Away and I'm close to dying. There's none of it to be looted, so I'll either cheat or have to reload a much earlier save.

For the past few weeks everytime I visit /v/ I've seen a NV thread, I just wanted to say I'm really glad the game has managed to last as long as it did. I'm also confidant that it will last even longer because anyone who plays the modern Fallouts will see just how different this one is. For all its faults, NV really captured the spirit of the original two and we're not going to see anything as good, Bethesda just wont let go of this license, nor will they stray from their casual market.

I don't have or remember the proof but I recall Lonesome Road representing an internet debate regarding the Fallout series as a whole on whether it should truly be post-post apocalypse or it should stay an post-apocalyptic game.
For a series that had the nukes drop hundreds of years ago, it's rather odd seeing some places STILL in shambles. The series in my opinion doesn't highlight enough on the recovery part of the series and Bethesda is guilty on portraying the Mad Max side of the series more.

Refer to the Legion endings. All you are doing is galvanizing the NCR for future attacks. Right now the NCR is tired, wants to leave thinks the war is pointless.
If the Legion wins and pushes forward, you put the entire NCR into war. Suddenly the War will be for their homes, it will have support. You prop up the weakened government.

Actually fallout 4 survival mode isn't that bad at all. The only things missing are hydra/doctor's bag to heal broken limbs.

DLC companions not being able to come back with you was the laziest shit, along with them not fininishing the deeper companion subplots. Not being able to wake up drunk and married to Cass is a fucking crime.

I get they had time contraints, but they could have skipped one of the DLC to broaden the base game.

Sometimes weird stuff happens when I hire unnamed NPCs that are supposed to be respawnable or something, they sometimes disappear or their inventory gets emptied out when I hire them but so far my game never crashed
Do you have the latest version of the JIP plugin? It got updated recently, maybe you have an older version
