The runback is a bitch, ain't it? Do the full havels thing, 4kings damage is crap up close. You can also continue to do free damage to the health bar while a king is in it's death animation.

If you are going to want to do NG+, know you'll have to learn the patterns and dodge timings, because their damage is going to be too much on later playthroughs.

NG 4Kangz is easy as fuck, I was wearing Havel's to begin with and I beat him second try (first death was because I kept trying to roll, which led to more kings spawning then I could handle). NG+ and beyond is a different story, as their difficulty dramatatically spikes.
