Tekken is actually pretty straight forward in terms of "depth". It's how many options there are, taking them into account and putting that up against another human opponent that makes it hard.

Most of Tekken only requires single button/motion inputs. It's when you start to get into movement and proper spacing where it starts to get crazy.

I hit Marauder Rank and I can't be bothered to sit here and learn everyone's strings so I think my time with the game is coming to an end. Super fun to play casually but there's a point where the amount of knowledge you need to know gets exponentially larger and you're looking at hundreds of hours to even begin to compete.

Yeah, everyone (except the bears) has those, and a few unique options (honestly, the only costumes worth a damn). But the number of unique options vary so much: Kuma and Panda have a P1 and P2 outfit, and nothing else. Meanwhile, most characters have maybe 3 uniques, and a very lucky few have more than 3. It's so fucking lazy. That costume DLC pack better be fucking top notch.
