Nah, fuck this guy. Square needs to realize that it's not "deep" or "layered" if a character straight up literally say what their character trait is. The cast was fun, but they were pretty fucking shallow and one dimensional.

He is the genetic basis for all of the MT's and was born in Nifelheim.

That's wrong. The wording in the English translation was a little off.

Prompto isn't a robot himself, but he was a human test subject used to make the MT robots.

The process (which they explain in the story) goes like this:

>humans turned into daemons

>daemons are then used as power source for robot MT

They were going to turn Prompto intp a daemon to shove into a robot body. Prompto's dad is Verstael, the lead MT engineer. This fact is probably why Prompto was able to escape and live in Lucis, because his dad felt sorry for him and let him leave. We won't know for sure until the Prompto DLC comes out.
