not really. I have a PC with a 750ti and I can still run every new game. not exactly playing NieR or Prey at 1080p all high, but I can get them to run at 60+fps on 900p/medium, and it looks great to me. im used to 30fps/720p on PS3 since most of my favorite games are on there, and I play it all the time. I don't think you need a "gaming" PC nowadays anymore, most developers try to make their games run on toasters. if you want great graphics, you can shell out the money for a nice GPU or whatever, but it's not 100% neccessary.

Its held me over for some time but it's showing its age badly now. Cant play SFV or DaS3 or GTA5 etc etc. Luckily if I ever get money most GPUs even used would be a huge upgrade. Plus I'm only using a CRT running @ 1280x1024.

EVGA sells used GPUs with a full year warranty. Can get a GTX 760 for $90.
