If you consider more procedurally generated planets that all are fairly dumb with procedurally generated mobs that all feel the same to be more content, then yeah, I guess so. Weapon variety is way lower, non-weapon gear variety is non-existent, the bosses suck, the combat is weak...

Definitely haven't in a few patches, will have to look again sometime. I better not be disappointed. It's not that it has no merit, it's just it was released too early (and also too late), and just didn't live up to promises.
