np, just most general rules of composition - never have something go precisely in the corner. Touching border doesn't work as often, unless what touches is parallel to it.
Those rules of course have exceptions, but usually if you keep them in mind - end composition result will be better.

Also the Crossbone is what made it go from eh to god damn it for me as well. Actually once they get to the major tournament school place is where it really began to falter, first few episodes were okay not amazing but still funish IMO.

VOTOMS has some on foot stuff, and it's spin off OVA Armored Hunter Mellowlink is litterally just a guy on a revenge spree taking out mechs on foot. Granted Armored Troopers aren't really huge, they're only a good 5-10-ish meters tall pretty small by mech standards.

Go to /m/ and ask for reqs, don't expect good mecha taste from /a/ anon. Dougram is a good one probably too, by same guy as VOTOMS I haven't seen it, but it looks like it'll have allot of what you're looking for.

I got a semi-built kit from someone but they didn't tell me there were a couple pieces missing (yellow vent on ankle and the shield) so I've been completely disheartened from finishing it.
