You can use Estus during invasions because it was meant to be, first of all, a system to INVADE, not PvP, so the devs logically and correctly assumed that people who got invaded were fighting PvE and got invaded, which put them at a huge disadvantage. The invader can use the environment and enemies around him to fuck the host of the world, so naturally, he had to have some drawback. That drawback was not being able to use Estus. So the host, who's fighting enemies and an invader can at least retreat and recover HP before facing them again, while the invader cannot.

However, invading for PvP is a whole other story. If you are actually looking to get invaded for PvP, why the fuck would you heal? PvP in Souls games is for the purpose of fun, so why would you want to get an advantage like that if you're looking to have a duel? You're just being a prick. Kill yourself my man.

If someone uses Estus flasks I immediately turn on my hacks. You want to waste my time, fine. I'll waste yours.

However, if you invade me and we're in a perfect area for a 1v1 and you realize I'm not healing, why chug? I'm forfeiting my advantage (larger estus pool) but you still gotta chug. You still gonna die nigga its just gonna take longer.

There's no excuse at all for chugging in duels or fight clubs tho.

Anyone who complains about sipping in invasions is a dumbass, however sipping in duels and fight clubs is annoying cause all it does is slow things down if someone can't finish shit off quick.
