Her hair will be its original length almost certainly, the only reason it wasn't in AC was because it was too expensive to render. Same reason why Red's barely in the movie.

Depends on if you can play it in the knowledge that it's 20 years old; by modern standards it's very dated. Still a very solid and rewarding experience though, there's a fair amount to do, the characters are overall likeable and the story's one of the best you'll see from a JRPG despite the wobbly translation.

There wasn't an 'Asian' equivalent in Final Fantasy X, but Yuna looked as Asian as can be. The designers of Final Fantasy literally don't care and just make shit up as they go. And Nomura will make Tifa look different yet again in this game. Probably closer to her AC design but with new hair and face.

The visuals are dated, and some of the brief gameplay mix ups are a bit of a chore, but the core gameplay has aged pretty well.
It helps that it's incredibly simple.

Final Fantasy as a series trying to go more and more towards realism was the mistake. FFVII and the FF series as a whole would do better just going for a cel shaded look. But since Dragon Quest has cornered that, the developers of Final Fantasy do the opposite. As doing the opposite of Dragon Quest goes back to the very first Final Fantasy game.
