Tfw xbox/nintendo idort but the only games I'm interested in are like 5 franchises, only one of which is on xbox (take a wild guess at which one I'm talking about).
I'm getting tired of gaming, aren't I? Last game I bought was pokemon sun and moon and I played that only until the post game quest. Nowdays I only play Halo campaigns with my xbox live friend I've had since 2008 and smash 4 offline tournaments. That's literally 100% all of what I've played starting from January,
I hope the Switch changes things up for me, I want to like games.

This. There's zero reason for most of us to even consider getting an Xbox. The recent Halo games have all seemed mediocre at best, Gears of War is just frat boy trash, and third party exclusives are virtually nonexistent. The only thing that even kind of tempted me was Sunset Overdrive, which seemed fun but hardly worth the cost of buying a new console for it.

Can't make myself get a console since PC games are so cheap.
Thought of buying a used handheld with some games but never outside to use it.

I can say that Namco needs to realize that single-player content is a big damn deal to a lot of people. You'd think they'd have learned after they crapped out SCV a year early and it killed the damn franchise. Then again SCV had more problems than weak 1P content. At the very least Tekken 7 seems like the fighting is solid and that's what really matters, although the netcode is shit and needs to be fixed ASAP. When shit runs worse than an NRS game you've really got a problem.
