They're all stand alone so you can just pick one. The Untolds are remakes of the DS originals, but with an added story mode with a pre-rolled party.

Persona Q is also worth considering if you're a Persona cast,since despite the name a lot of mechanics and gameplay is distinctively Etrian Odyssey, while also being a lot easier than the Etrian series itself.

A lot more customisation for the characters, since not only can you customise individual colors (hair, individual eyes, skin), each character has racial bonuses that develop outside of the classes. Initially classes are limited to certain races but it can be unlocked later on.

That and it's back to the original Etrian idea of one big dungeon that you climb to the top of.

It depends entirely on how the game is coded and if any changes were made during localisation. Rune Factory 4 took years to get undubbed due to nobody being able to figure out the voice timing systems it had, and people eventually gave up and imported the localised script into the Japanese game instead.
EOV has voices to pick for your characters when making them, and games doing that often end up with fewer available voices in the localised version. If the localisation does end up having less voice options it won't be easy to restore the ones that were removed.

I liked some of P5's cast, but I thought it was pretty inconsistent. I thought the game had the makings of a good dub, but Atlus either needed to recast some of its characters or redo some of the takes.

I can deal with some voice options for the party being duds, but I really hope they get the NPCs right, which is what Untold 2 struggled with. The trailer voice acting doesn't inspire confidence, either, when it's supposed to belong to one of the characters in the game.

I dunno, I try to keep an open mind to voice acting in all languages, but Atlus hasn't impressed me in a while. I'll be surprised if it even comes close to FE Echoes' dub.

Yeah, that can be irritating at times, but like I said, I'm not married to one language; I just go where the good acting is. Having an alternate track can help salvage a game if its main track has bad acting. So while a lot of the actors Atlus uses are prolific and do way more than just dubbing, a lot of their performances just feel like typical dub acting to me, and not like something you might see from those same actors in a different production, especially a western-developed one. The actress in the trailer sounds like Erica Mendez to me, and if it is, I have to wonder what happened, because she's put out much better stuff before.

I'm all for options, and people are free to vote with their wallet, but yeah, dismissing a game based on the voice acting alone seems odd to me. It ignores the time spent translating the game into something people can actually understand, which always takes way more time than a handful of VO sessions.

Classes are handled better in this game than the last few EOs imo. Since subclassing and grimoires aren't in EOV, it's hard to make a team that doesn't have something missing from it.

There's also nothing in the game as glaringly underpowered as EO2U Ronin.

Difficulty-wise, I'd put it somewhere between EOIV and EOIII. I put it below EOIII because I feel like too many fights are free if you go in with an overpowered team composition.
