Portraits aren't so hot.
The music hits just like standard fantasy fare and I have AW's CO tracks so hardcore ingrained into my mind with that broad musical style that it's also a point for me.

I played a little Harvest Moon on my GBA emulator, and I couldn't stand the time limit on finding a waifu. It also felt clunky as hell.
Stardew Valley got extremely dull for me after I found out more about the endgame. Only the character conversations could hold my interest, and even those tended to bother me on some level rather than leading me to empathize and care.

Rune Factory 4 was really fun in general. Grindy as hell, but in a great way (I liked how you could level up slowly and get stronger by doing basic things like eating and sleeping). Extremely weeby (something I generally dislike), but genuinely entertaining.
