It's the greatest pirate game by a huge margin. There's literally nothing that even comes close.

If it wasn't AC, it would be regarded as a GOAT time.

I have only played AC2 and blackflag. Blackflag it's one of my fav games of all time, it captures the escence of being a pirate greatly.

I don't know if I shpuld laugh or cry at the fact that an assassin's creed game unintentionally ended up being the best pirate game that's currently out.
For fuck sakes, why do people hate pirates?

Pirates of the Caribbean(aka Sea Dogs 2) beats AssCreed on everything except for melee combat.You can trade, siege cities, command multiple ships, has better story/side quests...
Though the worst part is it didn't age well so it takes a while to get used to all the controls and shit.
