The Switch is Nintendo's death nail. They announced a new pokemon and it isnt even coming to the switch. Every game except Super mario Galaxy 3D Sunshine Bros 2 and Arms is a port from the WiiU (meaning no sane man will ever bother buying the Switch for one game) and both Switch exclusives will probably try to incorporate the stupid gimmicks as much as possible.

The issue is that despite Nintendo shrinking the length of their presentations, the actual pacing and content is still going to be fucking shit.
They're gonna spend 10 minutes on Mario Odyssey, 5 minutes on Zelda dlc, 5 minutes on a clip reel of a bunch of indie shit that goes too fast for anyone to know what's going on, 5 minutes of Rabbids RPG, 4 minutes of Reggie doing damage control, and the last minute will be a tease for a game not coming until 2020.
And then they'll have a reveal or two randomly during the treehouse because fuck you if you're an adult with a life that doesn't have the time to sit around watching 40 hours of bullshit.

And then there's also the problem that they never fucking highlight some of the actual 3rd party games they do have like monster hunter or smt in their presentation and then nobody knows about them and they continue the meme of Nintendo having literally no 3rd party support.

They need to save it for the game's own direct they usually get a month or so before launch, NOT at E3. It's the equivalent of having presentators on stage talk before demoing a game.

Only issue is how long will they allocate the showtime for each game. I'm fucking hoping that Ubisoft only shows fucking Rabbids in their presentation rather than letting Nintendo to put that to waste the time.

And remember that, Nintendo still has more to show in later on this year with additional directs. E3 isn't the main source of the information for Nintendo to showcase it's games anymore.

People like big flashy announcement trailers for games far off. Note that the biggest E3 announcements have always been trailers for games that came out a year or two later. The Wii U burnt out hard at E3 every year because it got no long term announcements.
