It has had trouble with RPG maker updates basically breaking all of the curltscenes and custom plugins. Omori is more a story than a game so everything has to be right.

Advance Wars is so much better than Fire Emblem and Nintendo have forgotten about it, Wargroove looks like it'll be taking the Advance Wars aspect and bringing it back, albeit in a medieval fantasy.

Have you played the long road demo? the battles are actually fast instead of this slow, snowflake stuff.

There are some unique qualities to the combat. Some characters have no basic attack and others have different ways to activate/land skills.

It's not rocket science, but its better than waiting 90 seconds to do a basic attack after doing some mini game.
