You're better off pursuing it as an alternative goal, or doing it because you want to do it, not to make money on it, otherwise you'll fail, and be all the more jaded and angry because of it.

the koreans aren't inherently any better than westerners. The issue is westerners in every modern 'esports' game spend more time streaming than practicing/training, then wonder why they get shit on. Same for fighting games. japs and koreans get arcade versions of tekken 7 2 years ago, and why is anyone surprised when they're the only ones placing in the top 20?
