I honestly think it's the best Persona game by far, and it's a super long game too, so you're not getting ripped off if you liked the others.

I'd say they're overall not as good as P4, with a lot of character's motivations being a bit unclear, but the good ones are great, and the so-so ones are just so-so. None are really bad in any way.

I will say this much, if you like Persona 4 Golden and 3 FES there is no reason you will not like Persona 5. Persona 5 expands on literally everything from 3 FES and takes what is great from Persona 4 Golden, then basically adds on to it and makes it much more interesting. Your social links matter.

Pro tip Focus on leveling up Mishima,Taekami and Hifumi when you get to them they provide really useful abilities. And also buy the SP Rings that you can get from Taekami they really come in handy as it lets you not run out of SP in the dungeons. Also do not forget to go down mementos. Just follow along and you will do fine.

I'm playing four after I played 5 and while I'm enjoying it, 5 really is a improvement in almost every way imaginable save a few things.

It's incredible.
I put 113 hours into it in a week and a half. I had 14 hours marathon sessions without getting bored. If you play on hard mode you're pushed to use all the battle system and the balancing is amazing.

It lives up the hype.
