Hey /v/, it's been a while.
Is this game any good? I was a big fan of the original as a kid but I've been away from buying new games for so long that I'm not really sure what publications to go to for solid reviews or critique. People do that mostly on YouTube now, right? That's not really my speed.
1) Does that guy from Forbes still write decent and honest reviews?
2) Where can I go?
3) Does this game suck, or will it be a fun nostalgia trip for someone who was a fan of the original?
Do you like Digimon World 1? If yes, then you'll REALLY like Next Order. It fixes basically everything from 1.
Serously. Name a flaw. I can almost promise that it's been fixed

Are the evolution parameters still so insanely narrow that you'll have to use a guide to get anything other than a Numamon/Vademon? And hitting those numbers will dominate most of your 'mons life?
Those were my two biggest issues with World 1. I was also 10 years old or so so maybe I just sucked. I definitely remember hanging out with this one kid I hated, just so I could sneak away and use this thing called "the internet" to look up stuff about Digimon World on GameFAQs.
All he wanted to do was play football, but his parents had broadband internet in 2000 and that blew my fucking mind.

Nope. Also, the game actually lists the requirements for each evolution

There's no reason to play higher difficulties because no trophies are tied to them and all they do is needlessly bloat enemy hp and shorten the lifespans of your mons because of all the grinding you have to do.

Aaaaand sold. Thanks Anon.

Some people like a challenge and don't give a shit about trophy dick measuring.

1) Don't know.
2) Don't know.
3) It's an updated remake of Digimon World 1. If you prefer 2/3-style RPGs, get Cyber Sleuth instead.

It's literally just grinding. You could be playing other games instead.
>>379327136
I never said it was good challenge.
>>379327814
You may as well have never said anything at all, then.

The a.i is also smarter

Human NPCs. Digimon doesn't need those.

Oh cool. I always thought he shouted "You suck!" when you won a fight, but only in my weeby years later on down the road did I realize he was shouting "Yatta!"
